Jippeee!!!  A new blog to keep you updated with what is happening at Scrap 'n Biki.
The reason for creating a new site yet again is that the Ning network I have previously used, has changed their structure and is now a paid for site.  A this stage that is just not an option that is worth its while for me.  I'd much rathe spend the money on some new goodies for the shop!  :-)  The Ning site will thus not be in working order in future.  I will try to keep you updated with day-to-day happenings in the shop on Facebook and use this blogsite for more detail updates and links to interesting sites and information.

This week is the last week of class for this term.  As it is 2010 and we are hosting the Soccer World Cup  here in our beautiful South Africa, I thought there was simply no other theme for my son's sixth birthday party.  On the upside, I had no trouble finding little bits and bobs to make the party fun.  On the downside, by the time the World cup actually kicked off, I've had my fair share of soccer.  None the less, I think we'll all agree that the whole vibe surrounding the opening ceremony and Bafana's first match was quite something!  I think South Africa desperately needed something like this!

We will be working with circles and create a frame using this shape.  The use of the little frames are not compulsory.  Jumbo photos can be used where I used the mini prints

We will be leaving on a much needed holiday on Thursday 24 June.  Shop will be open until Tuesday for last minute stock ups.  Classes will resume after the school holidays in the week of 19 July 2010.  I look forward to a bit  more predictable remaining six months.  I think we've had our fair share of happenings during the first half of this year.  Hopefully classes will be more frequent.

Have a blessed week!
